Mr Somerma has previously worked as the CEO of Siili Solutions and Ruukki Construction, as well as in management consulting at PwC and BCG. “I look forward to joining ARCO in accelerating their success story and building the operating model and culture of the new company together with the team,” says Marko Somerma.

During the past year, two new architectural firms have been aquired, Schauman Arkkitehdit from Turku and Avario Arkkitehdit from Oulu and the goal is further growth, both in Finland and in the Nordic countries. In the future, different kinds of expertise will be required in leading the company. My own passion and strength has always been in customer co-operation and project planning, so it is only natural to step aside from the role of CEO and get back to the operational front line.
