New Residential and Assisted Living Development in Herttoniemi
A new development located in a central location, close to Herttoniemi metro station and a variety of services, will offer modern, bright apartments with thoughtfully designed floor plans.

Nordic leading real estate investment and development company Nrep is launching a significant residential and assisted living project in Helsinki’s Herttoniemi. Valued at over 100 million euros, the project will bring 425 residential apartments and 108 assisted living apartments to the area, addressing the growing housing demand and the need for high-quality care services in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
The development, located near Herttoniemi metro station and a wide range of services, will feature modern, light-filled apartments with carefully considered floor plans. Almost all apartments will have their own balconies, and a lush inner courtyard will provide a pleasant and peaceful environment for residents. In addition, the development will include a variety of shared facilities, such as a gym, saunas, and a communal living room for the entire block, supporting a sense of community and residents’ well-being.
The project will be built in line with sustainable construction principles. The buildings will be equipped with solar panels, geothermal energy will be used for heating, and low-emission green concrete and steel will be the primary materials. All buildings will meet the A-energy rating, and the project aims to achieve the highest Platinum level of the international LEED environmental certification.
The architectural design for the project is led by ARCO, with Lujatalo Oy as the main contractor. Construction is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2025, with completion expected between 2027 and 2028.
