The experience arena located near the Oulu railway station will open the doors to international-level sports, cultural, and congress events across Northern Finland.
The City of Oulu has selected the Raksila 2.0 consortium, formed by SRV and Trevian, to deliver this major development project, which includes the arena and its surrounding area.
The experience arena, planned for the western end of the Raksila market block, will have a capacity of up to 11,650 spectators. The development will also include, among other things, a practice ice rink, a hotel, grocery stores, and underground parking. A new travel centre will be built along the railway, and the area will also feature educational facilities, office spaces, and residential buildings.
