Borgströminmäki comprises four five-storey and one six-storey tower blocks located in Kruunuvuorenranta, Helsinki. The buildings are located next to a rocky forest area whose relief and terrain guided the design decisions from the very beginning.
The facade materials selected for the buildings are brown brick combined with light and grey plastering.
The neighbourhood’s parking facilities are located under the yard deck. The roof of the deck forms a paved and planted yard for the use of the residents of the buildings. The shared saunas with recreational facilities and rooftop terraces are located on the second highest floor.The recreational facilities have access to the covered outdoor terrace and an unobstructed access to the balcony.
