Firdo – a future-oriented office building in Pasila
Construction of the Firdo office development is progressing rapidly in Keski-Pasila, Helsinki. Installation of the façade elements is underway, and the building is beginning to take shape as part of Pasila’s evolving cityscape.
Firdo is a new, environmentally responsible office building scheduled for completion in spring 2027. The building is located in the immediate vicinity of Pasila railway station and the Mall of Tripla, within the Ratapihakortteli area, offering excellent transport connections and a wide range of services right next to the workplace.
The building will comprise 14 flexible office floors, providing a total of approximately 15,000 square metres of adaptable office space. The premises are designed to meet the needs of different types of companies and to support modern, multi-faceted ways of working. The project is targeting LEED Platinum environmental certification and the WELL Gold wellbeing standard, guiding the design towards energy-efficient, healthy and user-oriented solutions.

Firdo will offer modern working conditions through smart office solutions, shared-use spaces, as well as meeting and lounge areas. The building will also include a restaurant and a gym. For commuters who cycle to work, a heated bicycle parking area will be provided at street level, while car parking spaces will be located in a parking garage beneath the podium deck. Upon completion, among others, the headquarters of Skanska will relocate to Firdo.
ARCO Architecture Company is responsible for the architectural and principal design of the project, as well as BIM coordination. Landscape design during the detailed design phase is also included in ARCO’s scope of services. The developer and main contractor for the project is Skanska.
Firdo has already attracted significant interest during the construction phase, and negotiations regarding the available office spaces are ongoing. The building will be completed in Keski-Pasila in spring 2027.
