Lippulaiva’s six residential buildings are located in Espoonlahti, adjacent to the urban shopping centre Lippulaiva.
The height of the residential buildings varies from four storeys to fifteen storeys as seen from the roof level of the shopping centre. The complex has a total of 573 flats. The residential buildings are partly built on top of the yard deck of the Lippulaiva shopping centre.
The residential building masses built on pedestal footings are structured horizontally in order to emphasise the identity of the ground floor and entrances as well as the distinctive features of the roof floors, in accordance with the principles of high-rise construction in Espoo.
Some of the roofs of the business centre will be implemented as green roofs, as they are visible from the surrounding high-rise residential buildings as the fifth facade.
