THE BUILDING PROJECT IS LOCATED IN THE FINNOO DISTRICT OF ESPOO, ON THE EDGE OF A PARK NEAR THE METRO STATION.
THE TWO 5-STOREY RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS ARE CONSTRUCTED WITH WOODEN STUD-FRAME SPATIAL ELEMENTS AND ARE BEING BUILT BY ESPOON ASUNNOT.
The buildings are mainly wood-clad apartment blocks with lean-to roofs. The individual massing, colouring and roof design of the buildings are in keeping with the environment. The façade material for block 31147 is wood.
The buildings’ recessed balconies are glazed and are part of the spatial element, forming a technically coherent façade solution that also contributes to the functionality of the apartment layouts, rhythmically shaping the rectangular shape of the buildings, in addition to the window openings, the colouring and the recesses at the end stairwells. The façade colouring is individual: each building has its own main colour, in line with the block plan for the area.
