UNITY Tampere is a studio hotel located in an old industrial property. It opened to the public in late 2022.
ARCO has designed high-end residential flats, a 150-room studio hotel, and commercial premises on the old industrial property.
Opened in the autumn in the unique factory complex of Pyynikki in Tampere, the UNITY Tampere studio hotel offers its customers flexible living and working opportunities and local services.
The buildings are protected in the city plan, which is why the preservation of their significant cityscape character has been carefully taken into account in the renovation and rebuilding work.
UNITY’s studios enable both long-term home-like living and shorter vacationing. The courtyard of the factory complex accommodates working spaces, a grocery store, a gym, beauty and wellness services, a café, and a brewery restaurant.
The hotel’s sauna facilities, lounge area, and rooftop terraces provide luxurious spaces for gatherings, complemented with a stunning scenery. ARCO was responsible for the principal and architectural design of the project. The interior design for the hotel was carried out by Tom Dixon Studio.
