The Nokia Arena in Tampere is part of the large Tampere Deck complex.
The multi-purpose arena enables the organisation of public events for up to 17,000 people and ice hockey matches for 15,500 people right in the heart of Tampere. The arena’s facilities are flexible, allowing for events ranging from ice hockey to concerts and from trade fairs to circus shows.
Once completed, the arena became the new home of the local ice hockey teams Ilves and Tappara. The arena also served as the main venue for the 2022 and 2023 Ice Hockey World Championships. In addition to hockey, the arena has hosted a number of world-class performers

The audience levels of the Nokia Arena are located on the third and fifth floors. In between these two floors, there is a grandstand restaurant and the reception area of Lapland Hotels. On the sixth floor of the arena, there are more boxes as well as the hotel’s unique box rooms with a mezzanine, which offer a direct view of the arena’s event area. The upper floors 7–12 are used for hotel functions.
In addition to the arena activities, the building also houses commercial facilities such as a casino, the Paidia E-sport centre and numerous restaurants.
